Introducing our EPP 3D MX2. Featuring a fantastic design and layout, this all out EPP 3D'er will satisfy the most eager 3D pilots!

Its fuselage is torsionally very stiff yet light with loads of space beneath the long top hatch for your radio and power system. The wing is a one-piece affair featuring EPP construction, a very accurate symmetrical airfoil with 2 additional spars to minimize flex and twist. The control surfaces are something else - the elevator, rudder, and ailerons feature a 3 layer construction (Epp-Depron-EPP) making for stiff surfaces and NO flex at extreme throws! Snap rolls "Snap" and the control response is instantaneous.

The light - yet rigid - airframe adds up to one great flying 3D "foamy". Waterfalls, harriers, flat spins, rolling circles this model has the precision to perform these and any other moves you can think of!

Assembly of the airframe in a quick 10-15 minute process with the help of a little medium CA. The radio and power system layouts are very straightforward, the long top hatch making for easy access.

This is a great model for general park flying and hardcore 3D. You will be hard-pressed to break this model, it will take hard knocks and just keep bouncing back every time!

After the incredible success of the Tundra V1 and V2, Durafly has decided to produce yet another version with even more improvements to bring the Tundra series bang up to date. The V3 is now a pure 4S set-up so it has power in abundance to make your flying even more fun than it was before (if that is at all possible!). The Tundra has had a massive cult following over the years within the RC community as it's easily one of the best flying electric RC planes on the market with an impressive flight envelope. This was followed sometime later with the launch of the Grand Tundra which encompassed all your favorite features but on a larger scale. The Grand Tundra Plus keeps 99% of the features of the original version, the one change that has been made is to the wing servo connectors, these have a new design to give a stronger and more reliable connection.

The Phoenix V2 2000 is a quick and easy to assemble electric powered glider with flaps and large ailerons for a precise, aerobatic performance. The EPO wings are fitted with a carbon spar for strength and 2 metal spars join the wings to the fuselage. Also, each aileron is reinforced with carbon to eliminate any chance of distortion or twisting. The wings are attached to the fuselage using fast connect clips, after flying, simply squeeze the clips to release the wings.

This little kit takes around 4hrs to build and will satisfy the throttle jocky in all of us!

The flycat comes with 56mm EDF and you will need a 25A ESC & 4800kv inrunner.

This plane is extremely fast, (over 100mph!), however still stable at slow flight.

Our flight report.

Kit fits together well, light sanding of leading and trailing edges required to remove extra foam. We chose to not strengthen the wing with CF tubing, which didnt prove to be an issue, even at full speed high G turns.

We opted to mount the BESC being the battery area, in case the battery needed to be moved forward to adjust CofG, however this wasnt necessary.

EDF was mounted on the stick mount. Stick mount was shortened, with the extra piece used to raise the EDF off the stick to clear the EDF shroud. 2 bolts held the fan unit to the stick, one before and one after the fan blades.

First flight.

We kept CofG 9.5cm from the apex of the wings leading edge. The flycat was hand launched at 3/4 throttle, accelerating quickly. To our surprise, no trimming was required.

The flycat is an extremely fast kit to fly, and required a lot of elevator in turns. We suggest putting the elevator on maximum throws. It needs HUGE amounts of elevator during turns!

Overall an excellent plane which flys smoothly, even on windy days.

We suggest a good lipo pack, as this little hotty will chew through a 1500mAh in only 5 minutes. We used the ZIPPY-R 1800mAh 22C 3S1P pack for around 8 minute flights. As compared to the ZIPPY-Q pack which brought us short at about 7 minutes.
