The Avios Tundra series of STOL sports planes has enjoyed a massive following over the years, and rightfully so, as it has been one of the best flying RC foam planes ever designed. They have an impressive flight envelope with an amazing STOL performance, and all this is coupled with a great-looking plane. The original 1300mm Tundra was followed sometime later with the launch of the 1700mm Grand Tundra, which encompassed all your favorite features but on a larger scale. This was then followed by the Grand Tundra Plus version, which kept all the original features but had improved wing servo connectors to give a stronger and more reliable connection.

We now take yet another leap forward to the 1700mm Grand Tundra 2. Like all things that evolve, there are areas that, over time, could do with a slight improvement. So, after listening to our customers and pilots, and from our own experiences, the GT2 was born, and it is better than ever. It is now a 6S setup as standard, the tail wheel has been redesigned and strengthened, the main tundra wheels have pneumatic rubber tires, it has a removable plywood battery tray with spring-loaded latch (for quick battery changes), hex-head screws all round, and a new profile, more efficient glass-filled nylon 15x8 propeller. The look of the GT2 has also changed; it has a new, striking design in the popular green and silver color scheme.

There is no gluing required, just one screw holds the tail components in place, and 1 screw for the wing. This is yet another addition to the extremely popular Tundra series of STOL (Short Take-Off and Landing) airplanes from Durafly, but this one is aimed primarily, but not exclusively at the novice. The H-King FG-1 Corsair "Lucky Gallon" is the third in the mini-series from H-King, the "Reno Aces", WW2 fighters dressed to impress at the air races. The FG-1 Corsair "Lucky Gallon" with the included stock 3108-1070KV brushless motor offers a really quick model straight out of the box with speeds approaching 100mph when using the recommended 2200mAh 4S LiPo. However, if you are an experienced hand and are looking for 100+ mph speeds then there is the optional drop-in fit 3108-1170KV 'Pro' brushless motor. The HobbyKing™ Paramotor is extremely easy to fly due to its very gentle and stable flight characteristics yet once you are used to it, it will perform loops and rolls with ease. We have all had to start learning to fly an RC model at some point, and a stable, high-wing trainer that is very forgiving is what is required. The Dancing Wings Hobby Vogee-16 Trainer is the perfect choice for the rookie pilot. The Dancing Wings Hobby Stick-14T 3D aerobatic trainer is the perfect choice for intermediate and experienced RC pilots alike. It is based on the classic stick design and is quite capable of all the usual aerobatic maneuvers, plus with the right power train, it doubles up as the perfect 3D trainer. The Yak-11 was designed as an advanced trainer for use by the Soviet Air Force and came into service in 1947. The pilot and instructor sat in tandem under a long canopy that had separate sliding hoods. Although designed as a trainer, Yak-11s were also used in combat during the Korean War, and more recently, highly modified ones have been used very successfully for air racing. The Steadfast was built from scratch as an out-and-out high-performance single-seat racer in Romania in the early 2000s. It was based on the Yak-3, but essentially it looks the same as a Yak-11, so our model is based on our previous Yak-11 model.

The H-King Yak Steadfast is supplied with a power train that has been developed for pure speed. Using a 6S LiPo pack, the 5020-550KV brushless motor with the supplied 85A ESC and 16x6 prop will give it an incredible turn of speed of over 100 mph. It is very quick, and seeing a model of this impressive size doing fast pylon turns near the ground is a sight to behold. Aerobatics are also a dream to perform, the rolls are very axial, and looping maneuvers are big due to the abundance of power. The only limitations to the aerobatics it will perform are your flying skills.

When Durafly released the original Auto-G it raised the bar by being the first Plug-N-Fly autogyro on the market, that bar has been raised even higher with the Auto-G2 V2.
