The Avios Tundra series of STOL sports planes has enjoyed a massive following over the years, and rightfully so, as it has been one of the best flying RC foam planes ever designed. They have an impressive flight envelope with an amazing STOL performance, and all this is coupled with a great-looking plane. The original 1300mm Tundra was followed sometime later with the launch of the 1700mm Grand Tundra, which encompassed all your favorite features but on a larger scale. This was then followed by the Grand Tundra Plus version, which kept all the original features but had improved wing servo connectors to give a stronger and more reliable connection.

We now take yet another leap forward to the 1700mm Grand Tundra 2. Like all things that evolve, there are areas that, over time, could do with a slight improvement. So, after listening to our customers and pilots, and from our own experiences, the GT2 was born, and it is better than ever. It is now a 6S setup as standard, the tail wheel has been redesigned and strengthened, the main tundra wheels have pneumatic rubber tires, it has a removable plywood battery tray with spring-loaded latch (for quick battery changes), hex-head screws all round, and a new profile, more efficient glass-filled nylon 15x8 propeller. The look of the GT2 has also changed; it has a new, striking design in the popular green and silver color scheme.

The Tundra has had a massive cult following over the years within the RC community as it's easily one of the best flying electric RC planes on the market with an impressive flight envelope. This was followed sometime later with the launch of the Grand Tundra which encompassed all your favorite features but on a larger scale. The Phoenix V2 2000 is a quick and easy to assemble electric powered glider with flaps and large ailerons for a precise, aerobatic performance. The EPO wings are fitted with a carbon spar for strength and 2 metal spars join the wings to the fuselage. Also, each aileron is reinforced with carbon to eliminate any chance of distortion or twisting. The wings are attached to the fuselage using fast connect clips, after flying, simply squeeze the clips to release the wings.

The subject of this kit is the German liaison aircraft built during WW11, the Fieseler Fi 156 Storch. The Storch (German for "Stork") is famous for its STOL (Short Take-Off and Landing) abilities and it had an incredibly low stall speed of only 31mph. It was mainly used during WW11 for reconnaissance, spotting for the army and forward operations, and medical evacuation. Its design incorporated hinged slats along the entire length of the wings leading edge and a hinged and slotted set of control surfaces ran along each trailing edge, this was split equally to form outboard ailerons and inboard flaps. Virtually nothing about the Storch is streamlined with bits sticking out everywhere including the side windows,  this with its long undercarriage hanging down gives it a unique long-legged bird look which is why it was given the name of "Storch".

The XFLY Swift 2100 is a versatile electric-powered glider that is quite happy flying fast and doing aerobatics or is equally at home flying slowly and just floating around. To achieve this versatility the XFLY engineers have used CFD (Computer Fluid Dynamics), which has enabled the Swift 2100 to achieve a high lift-to-drag ratio and excellent aerodynamic characteristics. The factory-installed power system includes an efficient 3136-1000KV brushless motor with 40A brushless ESC and drives a 10x6 2-blade folding propeller with metal spinner. This system can be powered by either a 3S, or a 4S LiPo battery to deliver plenty of thrust for fast climbs to soaring altitudes, aerobatics, and general sport flying.

The Dancing Wings Hobby S.E.5A is a detailed scale model of the famous World War 1 biplane fighter. The kit comes almost ready to fly and is constructed in balsa for a strong, lightweight, authentic structure. A lot of scale detail is supplied including, scale exhausts, scale wheels, and a dummy machine gun, plus a full accessory kit is also supplied which includes all the necessary hardware including scale rigging to complete the kit.

We have all had to start learning to fly an RC model at some point, and a stable, high-wing trainer that is very forgiving is what is required. The Dancing Wings Hobby Vogee-16 Trainer is the perfect choice for the rookie pilot. It has a large, flat-bottomed wing with dihedral which enables it to fly very slowly, and it has the stability to sort itself out if you get in a muddle. The Vogee's flying characteristics are very benign, beginners tend to over-control, and the Vogee is very gentle in its handling, especially if you install one of the readily available 3-axis gyros that are available on the market these days. While Avios are known the world over for their fantastic semi-scale models of powered airplanes, particularly waterplanes, their experience and dedication to designing and producing great flying models means they are perfectly placed to produce other types as well. The Avios Kobuz is a large, aerobatic, sport-scale model with outstanding flight characteristics of the SZD-21 Kobuz single-seat aerobatic glider, designed and built in Poland.

This flapped, 2200mm wingspan model features clean and aesthetic lines, it will fly fast or slow, has an incredible climb rate, and is very aerobatic with good speed retention in the glide. All these things are wrapped up in one big, beautiful package, which is then finished in a stunning hi-viz Swiss color scheme. The color scheme design is quite different top and bottom for great orientation when flying high or at a distance. One feature of the Kobuz is the very large canopy with instrument panel detail, which offers easy access to the battery and RC compartment. There is also plenty of room in the canopy if you wish to convert the Kobuz to FPV.

Avios continues to bring you great flying, and high-quality RC models of interesting subjects, this theme continues with the Avios Twin Otter STOL (Short Takeoff and Landing) twin-engine plane. The Avios model captures the looks and great flying characteristics of the full-size inspired Twin Otter. The impressive power-to-weight ratio and light wing loading makes for exceptional low-speed handling and STOL flight characteristics.

The Avios Twin Otter is also crammed full of outstanding features, these include a set of large barn door style flaps, counter-rotating props for improved handling, scale outline with detailed surface finish, and scale plastic parts. Other features include a fully sprung, all metal CNC nose strut with servo saver, low bounce soft foam oversized bush wheels, and day bright LED lights throughout.

The list of outstanding features goes on with a set of floats included, these are easily fitted in place of the tricycle landing gear so that you can have even more fun flying from lakes and rivers. The included Aerostar RVS speed controllers make flying from water on the floats so much easier, they allow you to maneuver and taxi even in the more challenging conditions and situations that can be found on inland waters. To further help when flying with the floats fitted are a pair of optional tail fins, these increase the yaw stability caused by the extra drag of the floats. Avios have also included two magnetically held interchangeable nose sections, one short to emulate the "Series 100" Twin Otter, and one long so that you can quickly change the look of your Twin Otter to a "Series 200".

Ciò gli consente di sopportare felicemente i colpi e gli scoppi dell'uso di un aeroporto in erba da cui volare, ma come accennato in precedenza, si dà davvero il meglio quando si opera dal tuo lago o corso d'acqua preferito. Il rullaggio e l'allineamento per il decollo sono resi molto più facili con il timone dell'acqua e gli ESC resistenti all'acqua di andata/retromarcia Aerostar in dotazione.
