We have all had to start learning to fly an RC model at some point, and a stable, high-wing trainer that is very forgiving is what is required. The Dancing Wings Hobby Vogee-16 Trainer is the perfect choice for the rookie pilot. It has a large, flat-bottomed wing with dihedral which enables it to fly very slowly, and it has the stability to sort itself out if you get in a muddle. The Vogee's flying characteristics are very benign, beginners tend to over-control, and the Vogee is very gentle in its handling, especially if you install one of the readily available 3-axis gyros that are available on the market these days.
