The Avios Tundra series of STOL sports planes has enjoyed a massive following over the years, and rightfully so, as it has been one of the best flying RC foam planes ever designed. They have an impressive flight envelope with an amazing STOL performance, and all this is coupled with a great-looking plane. The original 1300mm Tundra was followed sometime later with the launch of the 1700mm Grand Tundra, which encompassed all your favorite features but on a larger scale. This was then followed by the Grand Tundra Plus version, which kept all the original features but had improved wing servo connectors to give a stronger and more reliable connection.

We now take yet another leap forward to the 1700mm Grand Tundra 2. Like all things that evolve, there are areas that, over time, could do with a slight improvement. So, after listening to our customers and pilots, and from our own experiences, the GT2 was born, and it is better than ever. It is now a 6S setup as standard, the tail wheel has been redesigned and strengthened, the main tundra wheels have pneumatic rubber tires, it has a removable plywood battery tray with spring-loaded latch (for quick battery changes), hex-head screws all round, and a new profile, more efficient glass-filled nylon 15x8 propeller. The look of the GT2 has also changed; it has a new, striking design in the popular green and silver color scheme.

The XFLY Partenavia P68 is a small, semi-scale twin-engined model that is perfect for flying in small areas such as local parks, sports fields, etc. It has been designed to be extremely easy to fly and assemble, which makes it perfect as an entry-level choice for the novice pilot. The design is based on the full-size Partenavia P68 which is a 6-seater, twin-engined high-wing monoplane that is generally used for light transport and training.

We have all had to start learning to fly an RC model at some point, and a stable, high-wing trainer that is very forgiving is what is required. The Dancing Wings Hobby Savage Bobber is a small, lightweight foam model that is quick and simple to build. The full-size Savage Bobber was devised by the Zlin Aviation Company. The Bobber as in the motorcycle world means that it is a stripped-down, customized version of an original. It is lighter, more maneuverable, and has a slightly narrower fuselage, and the absence of covering to the rear of the fuselage greatly improves the crosswind handling.
