The Ranger 2000 is easy to assemble and features a large wingspan which provides stability, and also allows the model to fly at slow speeds. The EPO wings are fitted with two spars for strength and each aileron is reinforced with carbon to eliminate any chance of distortion or twisting. The wings are attached to the fuselage using fast connect clips, after flying, simply squeeze the clips to release the wings.

The Ranger 2400 is a large electric powered pusher glider that has been specifically designed for FPV flying.  The enormous fuselage has plenty of room for large capacity or twin battery packs, radio and stabilizer components, FPV equipment, and molded into the front just below the nose is a purpose-made provision for an FPV camera. Also included is the usual Volantex camera mount that can take the place of the black canopy if you wish. Assembly is quick and easy with no glue required, the vertical fin and horizontal stabilizer are simply screwed to the rear of the fuselage. Also, each of the large ailerons is reinforced with carbon to eliminate any chance of distortion or twisting. The subject of this kit is the German liaison aircraft built during WW11, the Fieseler Fi 156 Storch. The Storch (German for "Stork") is famous for its STOL (Short Take-Off and Landing) abilities and it had an incredibly low stall speed of only 31mph. It was mainly used during WW11 for reconnaissance, spotting for the army and forward operations, and medical evacuation. Its design incorporated hinged slats along the entire length of the wings leading edge and a hinged and slotted set of control surfaces ran along each trailing edge, this was split equally to form outboard ailerons and inboard flaps. Virtually nothing about the Storch is streamlined with bits sticking out everywhere including the side windows,  this with its long undercarriage hanging down gives it a unique long-legged bird look which is why it was given the name of "Storch".
