The Avios Tundra series of STOL sports planes has enjoyed a massive following over the years, and rightfully so, as it has been one of the best flying RC foam planes ever designed. They have an impressive flight envelope with an amazing STOL performance, and all this is coupled with a great-looking plane. The original 1300mm Tundra was followed sometime later with the launch of the 1700mm Grand Tundra, which encompassed all your favorite features but on a larger scale. This was then followed by the Grand Tundra Plus version, which kept all the original features but had improved wing servo connectors to give a stronger and more reliable connection.

We now take yet another leap forward to the 1700mm Grand Tundra 2. Like all things that evolve, there are areas that, over time, could do with a slight improvement. So, after listening to our customers and pilots, and from our own experiences, the GT2 was born, and it is better than ever. It is now a 6S setup as standard, the tail wheel has been redesigned and strengthened, the main tundra wheels have pneumatic rubber tires, it has a removable plywood battery tray with spring-loaded latch (for quick battery changes), hex-head screws all round, and a new profile, more efficient glass-filled nylon 15x8 propeller. The look of the GT2 has also changed; it has a new, striking design in the popular green and silver color scheme.

We all love to go out and fly our RC Planes on a nice day, and then have to stop when darkness comes. Now, with the Flybeam 2, you don't have to, you can carry on through dusk and into nightime with this amazing, fun to fly, but very stable EPO foam Night Flyer. The key feature of the Flybeam 2 is the pre-installed, multi-coloured RC plane LED light system, which also includes wing tip strobe lights. The new style LED lighting system on the Flybeam 2 has been redesigned from earlier versions of this model to be brighter, and much lighter in weight. After the incredible success of the Tundra V1 and V2, Durafly has decided to produce yet another version with even more improvements to bring the Tundra series bang up to date. The V3 is now a pure 4S set-up so it has power in abundance to make your flying even more fun than it was before (if that is at all possible!). Other changes and improvements include daylight bright LEDs (so bright they are suitable for true dawn-to-dusk flying), a reinforced nylon prop that is more efficient, and better balanced, a return to the classic EPO foam wheels which are lighter, and stronger, pre-installed pushrods, and hex-head bolts and screws throughout. The V3 is available in the classic Tundra green and white scheme, or a red and silver color scheme Durafly has called the "Inspire". The reason is that the original Tundra was "Inspired" by the "Highlander" full-size SuperStol experimental airplane.

The Yak-11 was designed as an advanced trainer for use by the Soviet Air Force and came into service in 1947. The pilot and instructor sat in tandem under a long canopy that had separate sliding hoods. Although designed as a trainer, Yak-11s were also used in combat during the Korean War, and more recently, highly modified ones have been used very successfully for air racing. The Steadfast was built from scratch as an out-and-out high-performance single-seat racer in Romania in the early 2000s. It was based on the Yak-3, but essentially it looks the same as a Yak-11, so our model is based on our previous Yak-11 model.

The H-King Yak Steadfast is supplied with a power train that has been developed for pure speed. Using a 6S LiPo pack, the 5020-550KV brushless motor with the supplied 85A ESC and 16x6 prop will give it an incredible turn of speed of over 100 mph. This version of the Vampire DH100 is finished in a Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) color scheme, this scheme was selected for its history and its orientation when flying. The RCAF obtained their Vampires in late 1948, and being their Air Force's first-ever jet fighter, they were an instant hit with the RCAF aircrew and pilots. The Vampire had an outstanding performance and graceful lines, this Durafly version captures these attributes beautifully.

The Supermarine Spitfire is the most famous fighter plane from the Second World War, and the Mk.1a defines where its history started. This Avios model represents an early WW2 version that came out just before the "Battle of Britain". It looks stunning and is possibly the best-looking and best-flying foam Spitfire on the market today. At this point, we would like to give thanks to Tom Hunt, whose drawings the Avios Spitfire Mk.1a is based on, and it is one of the main reasons why this Avios Spitfire (just like its smaller brother from Durafly) flies so well.. The Mk.1a has that truly iconic shape and lines of the Supermarine Spitfire as it was seen through the eyes of its original designer, R.J. Mitchell. The upper surfaces have a brand new, authentic early WW2 camouflage color scheme, with a black and white scheme underneath. This scheme was used from 1938 and during the "Phony War" on RAF fighters to help the observation of friendly aircraft from the ground. The Avios Spitfire Mk.1a is a poignant and fitting tribute to the pilots who flew them during these early years of aerial combat.

XFLY is continuing to expand its incredible range of EDF models with this fantastic-looking Lockheed Martin F-22 Raptor. It is a small, scale twin-EDF model of the supersonic all-weather stealth fighter that was developed for the United States Air Force.
