To complete the contents of this superb kit are a pair of vintage aircraft wheels, pre-bent and drilled aluminum wing struts and U/C legs, carbon tube wing spars, and joiners plus a comprehensive hardware pack that includes rigging wire, nuts, and bolts, servo horns, rods, and connectors, etc.

Welcome to the ultimate scale experience. The Avios Spitfire Mk5 has been built using super scale, a new modelling technique that allows for incredible detail. Featuring more artistry than the 1100mm Spitfire, the larger model has visible panel lines, exhaust, cannons, and scale split flaps with turn indicators for added realism.

The subject of this kit is the German liaison aircraft built during WW11, the Fieseler Fi 156 Storch. The Storch (German for "Stork") is famous for its STOL (Short Take-Off and Landing) abilities and it had an incredibly low stall speed of only 31mph. It was mainly used during WW11 for reconnaissance, spotting for the army and forward operations, and medical evacuation. Its design incorporated hinged slats along the entire length of the wings leading edge and a hinged and slotted set of control surfaces ran along each trailing edge, this was split equally to form outboard ailerons and inboard flaps. Virtually nothing about the Storch is streamlined with bits sticking out everywhere including the side windows,  this with its long undercarriage hanging down gives it a unique long-legged bird look which is why it was given the name of "Storch".

Met behulp van een 6S LiPo-pakket, zal de 5052-410KV borstelloze motor met de meegeleverde 95A ESC en 17x10 prop de Yak-11 nog steeds een indrukwekkende snelheid van maximaal 100mph geven, maar de verticale prestaties moeten worden gezien om het te geloven. Warbird-manoeuvres op grote schaal zijn een droom om te vliegen met de beschikbare hoeveelheid koppel en vermogen, en de rollende manoeuvres zijn erg axiaal. Maak indruk op de toeschouwers met langzame schaalachtige flypasts met flappen en de wielen naar beneden, of snelle, lage beschietingen en omhoog trekken in een halve Cubaanse acht of een vergelijkbare manoeuvre. De Yak-11 in dit herdenkingskleurenschema ziet er vanuit alle hoeken fantastisch uit tijdens het vliegen of zittend op de grond.

The Supermarine Spitfire is the most famous fighter plane from the Second World War, and the Mk.1a defines where its history started. This Avios model represents an early WW2 version that came out just before the "Battle of Britain". It looks stunning and is possibly the best-looking and best-flying foam Spitfire on the market today. At this point, we would like to give thanks to Tom Hunt, whose drawings the Avios Spitfire Mk.1a is based on, and it is one of the main reasons why this Avios Spitfire (just like its smaller brother from Durafly) flies so well.. The Mk.1a has that truly iconic shape and lines of the Supermarine Spitfire as it was seen through the eyes of its original designer, R.J. Mitchell. The upper surfaces have a brand new, authentic early WW2 camouflage color scheme, with a black and white scheme underneath. This scheme was used from 1938 and during the "Phony War" on RAF fighters to help the observation of friendly aircraft from the ground. The Avios Spitfire Mk.1a is a poignant and fitting tribute to the pilots who flew them during these early years of aerial combat.
