The XFLY Swift 2100 is a versatile electric-powered glider that is quite happy flying fast and doing aerobatics or is equally at home flying slowly and just floating around. To achieve this versatility the XFLY engineers have used CFD (Computer Fluid Dynamics), which has enabled the Swift 2100 to achieve a high lift-to-drag ratio and excellent aerodynamic characteristics. The factory-installed power system includes an efficient 3136-1000KV brushless motor with 40A brushless ESC and drives a 10x6 2-blade folding propeller with metal spinner. This system can be powered by either a 3S, or a 4S LiPo battery to deliver plenty of thrust for fast climbs to soaring altitudes, aerobatics, and general sport flying.

Het maakt gebruik van een 32-bits MCU voor ultrasnelle besturingsrespons en heeft 3 instellingen, gyro uit, gyro aan en trainingsmodus. In de trainingsmodus geeft de gyro volledige stabiliteit en beperkt ook de hoeveelheid rol en pitch die kan worden gebruikt. In gyro-on-modus geeft dit iets minder ondersteunde stabiliteit en beperkt het niet de rol of pitch die kan worden gebruikt, perfect voor soepele aerobatics in jet-stijl. In de gyro-uit-modus is het precies dat, helemaal geen gyro.
