The Avios Tundra series of STOL sports planes has enjoyed a massive following over the years, and rightfully so, as it has been one of the best flying RC foam planes ever designed. They have an impressive flight envelope with an amazing STOL performance, and all this is coupled with a great-looking plane. The original 1300mm Tundra was followed sometime later with the launch of the 1700mm Grand Tundra, which encompassed all your favorite features but on a larger scale. This was then followed by the Grand Tundra Plus version, which kept all the original features but had improved wing servo connectors to give a stronger and more reliable connection.

We now take yet another leap forward to the 1700mm Grand Tundra 2. Like all things that evolve, there are areas that, over time, could do with a slight improvement. So, after listening to our customers and pilots, and from our own experiences, the GT2 was born, and it is better than ever. It is now a 6S setup as standard, the tail wheel has been redesigned and strengthened, the main tundra wheels have pneumatic rubber tires, it has a removable plywood battery tray with spring-loaded latch (for quick battery changes), hex-head screws all round, and a new profile, more efficient glass-filled nylon 15x8 propeller. The look of the GT2 has also changed; it has a new, striking design in the popular green and silver color scheme.

While Avios are known the world over for their fantastic semi-scale models of powered airplanes, particularly waterplanes, their experience and dedication to designing and producing great flying models means they are perfectly placed to produce other types as well. The Avios Kobuz is a large, aerobatic, sport-scale model with outstanding flight characteristics of the SZD-21 Kobuz single-seat aerobatic glider, designed and built in Poland.

This flapped, 2200mm wingspan model features clean and aesthetic lines, it will fly fast or slow, has an incredible climb rate, and is very aerobatic with good speed retention in the glide. All these things are wrapped up in one big, beautiful package, which is then finished in a stunning hi-viz Swiss color scheme. The color scheme design is quite different top and bottom for great orientation when flying high or at a distance. One feature of the Kobuz is the very large canopy with instrument panel detail, which offers easy access to the battery and RC compartment. There is also plenty of room in the canopy if you wish to convert the Kobuz to FPV.

This third version of the Durafly DH 100 Vampire follows on from its predecessors to deliver a fantastic even better version of this popular EDF jet. We have added many more improvements so that the best has got even better. These new improvements include, additional carbon-fiber reinforcement, simplified and lighter landing gear struts, improved ducting and thrust pipe for increased performance, plastic nose for added protection, and plastic retract mount fairings.

This version of the Vampire DH100 is finished in a Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) color scheme, this scheme was selected for its history and its orientation when flying. The RCAF obtained their Vampires in late 1948, and being their Air Force's first-ever jet fighter, they were an instant hit with the RCAF aircrew and pilots. The Vampire had an outstanding performance and graceful lines, this Durafly version captures these attributes beautifully.

After the incredible success of the Tundra V1 and V2, Durafly has decided to produce yet another version with even more improvements to bring the Tundra series bang up to date. The V3 is now a pure 4S set-up so it has power in abundance to make your flying even more fun than it was before (if that is at all possible!). Other changes and improvements include daylight bright LEDs (so bright they are suitable for true dawn-to-dusk flying), a reinforced nylon prop that is more efficient, and better balanced, a return to the classic EPO foam wheels which are lighter, and stronger, pre-installed pushrods, and hex-head bolts and screws throughout. The V3 is available in the classic Tundra green and white scheme, or a red and silver color scheme Durafly has called the "Inspire". The reason is that the original Tundra was "Inspired" by the "Highlander" full-size SuperStol experimental airplane.

The Yak-11 was designed as an advanced trainer for use by the Soviet Air Force and came into service in 1947. The pilot and instructor sat in tandem under a long canopy that had separate sliding hoods. Although designed as a trainer, Yak-11s were also used in combat during the Korean War, and more recently, highly modified ones have been used very successfully for air racing. The Steadfast was built from scratch as an out-and-out high-performance single-seat racer in Romania in the early 2000s. It was based on the Yak-3, but essentially it looks the same as a Yak-11, so our model is based on our previous Yak-11 model.

The H-King Yak Steadfast is supplied with a power train that has been developed for pure speed. Using a 6S LiPo pack, the 5020-550KV brushless motor with the supplied 85A ESC and 16x6 prop will give it an incredible turn of speed of over 100 mph. It is very quick, and seeing a model of this impressive size doing fast pylon turns near the ground is a sight to behold. Aerobatics are also a dream to perform, the rolls are very axial, and looping maneuvers are big due to the abundance of power. The only limitations to the aerobatics it will perform are your flying skills.

Avios has excelled yet again in bringing you another interesting and high-quality RC model, the Avios PBY Catalina. Avios are at the forefront of water plane technology; they have produced more types than any other manufacturer in this class of model. The Avios model captures the looks and great flying characteristics of the full-size plane with this stand-off scale model of the iconic World War II flying boat. The Catalina was one of the most widely used flying boats of the 2nd World War. It served with every branch of the United States Armed Forces, and the Avios version depicts a Catalina in the stunning US Coast Guard scheme of the early 1940s era.

The Supermarine Spitfire is the most famous fighter plane from the Second World War, and the Mk.1a defines where its history started. This Avios model represents an early WW2 version that came out just before the "Battle of Britain". It looks stunning and is possibly the best-looking and best-flying foam Spitfire on the market today. At this point, we would like to give thanks to Tom Hunt, whose drawings the Avios Spitfire Mk.1a is based on, and it is one of the main reasons why this Avios Spitfire (just like its smaller brother from Durafly) flies so well.. The Mk.1a has that truly iconic shape and lines of the Supermarine Spitfire as it was seen through the eyes of its original designer, R.J. Mitchell. The upper surfaces have a brand new, authentic early WW2 camouflage color scheme, with a black and white scheme underneath. This scheme was used from 1938 and during the "Phony War" on RAF fighters to help the observation of friendly aircraft from the ground. The Avios Spitfire Mk.1a is a poignant and fitting tribute to the pilots who flew them during these early years of aerial combat.

The Ranger 2400 is a large electric powered pusher glider that has been specifically designed for FPV flying.  The enormous fuselage has plenty of room for large capacity or twin battery packs, radio and stabilizer components, FPV equipment, and molded into the front just below the nose is a purpose-made provision for an FPV camera. Also included is the usual Volantex camera mount that can take the place of the black canopy if you wish. Assembly is quick and easy with no glue required, the vertical fin and horizontal stabilizer are simply screwed to the rear of the fuselage. The EPO wings are fitted with a carbon spar for strength and 2 robust metal spars join the wings to the fuselage. Also, each of the large ailerons is reinforced with carbon to eliminate any chance of distortion or twisting. The wings are attached to the fuselage using the popular Volantex fast connect clips, after flying, simply squeeze the clips to release the wings.

Das geht schnell, und es ist ein unvergesslicher Anblick, ein Modell dieser beeindruckenden Größe zu sehen, das schnelle Pylonendrehungen in Bodennähe macht. Auch Kunstflug ist mit dem Yak ein Traum, die Rollen sind sehr axial und die Looping-Manöver sind aufgrund der Fülle an Kraft groß. Die einzigen Einschränkungen für den Kunstflug sind Ihre Flugkünste.

Diese Version der Yak-11 basiert auf einer Originalgröße, die derzeit in Deutschland fliegt, die Farbgebung ehrt die französischen Einheiten, die im 2. Weltkrieg für die Russen geflogen sind. Wie bereits erwähnt, wird er als Warbird-Version mit einem auf mehr Drehmoment ausgelegten Antriebsstrang geliefert. Mit einem 6S LiPo-Akku verleiht der 5052-410KV bürstenlose Motor mit dem mitgelieferten 95A ESC und 17x10 Prop dem Yak-11 immer noch eine beeindruckende Geschwindigkeit von bis zu 100mph, aber die vertikale Leistung muss man einfach gesehen haben. Große Warbird-Manöver sind ein Traum, mit der verfügbaren Menge an Drehmoment und Leistung zu fliegen, und die Rollmanöver sind sehr axial. The XFLY Swift 2100 is a versatile electric-powered glider that is quite happy flying fast and doing aerobatics or is equally at home flying slowly and just floating around. To achieve this versatility the XFLY engineers have used CFD (Computer Fluid Dynamics), which has enabled the Swift 2100 to achieve a high lift-to-drag ratio and excellent aerodynamic characteristics. The factory-installed power system includes an efficient 3136-1000KV brushless motor with 40A brushless ESC and drives a 10x6 2-blade folding propeller with metal spinner. This system can be powered by either a 3S, or a 4S LiPo battery to deliver plenty of thrust for fast climbs to soaring altitudes, aerobatics, and general sport flying.

Avios continues to bring you great flying, and high-quality RC models of interesting subjects, this theme continues with the Avios Twin Otter STOL (Short Takeoff and Landing) twin-engine plane. The Avios model captures the looks and great flying characteristics of the full-size inspired Twin Otter. The impressive power-to-weight ratio and light wing loading makes for exceptional low-speed handling and STOL flight characteristics.

The Avios Twin Otter is also crammed full of outstanding features, these include a set of large barn door style flaps, counter-rotating props for improved handling, scale outline with detailed surface finish, and scale plastic parts. Other features include a fully sprung, all metal CNC nose strut with servo saver, low bounce soft foam oversized bush wheels, and day bright LED lights throughout.

The list of outstanding features goes on with a set of floats included, these are easily fitted in place of the tricycle landing gear so that you can have even more fun flying from lakes and rivers. The included Aerostar RVS speed controllers make flying from water on the floats so much easier, they allow you to maneuver and taxi even in the more challenging conditions and situations that can be found on inland waters. To further help when flying with the floats fitted are a pair of optional tail fins, these increase the yaw stability caused by the extra drag of the floats. Avios have also included two magnetically held interchangeable nose sections, one short to emulate the "Series 100" Twin Otter, and one long so that you can quickly change the look of your Twin Otter to a "Series 200".
