The H145 is a slightly larger version of the EC135 and is gradually superseding the EC135 with the military, law enforcement agencies, and air ambulances. The original EC135 was developed from the MBB Bo 108 which was the first rotorcraft to have a 4-blade rigid rotor system, the H145 has gone even further with having a 5-blade main rotor system. The other stand-out feature of the H145 is the "Fenestron" tail-rotor system that is more efficient, has greater controllability, and also offers more protection to the tail system than conventional tail blades.

These include a 5-blade flybarless rotor head, a 6-axis gyro, and a barometric altitude hold. The included 2.4GHz transmitter gives you full control of the helicopter, it allows you to climb or descend, fly backwards, forwards, fly left and right, and rotate both ways around its axis.
