Its compact size means it is suitable for a variety of car and buggy chassis, and it will auto-identify either sensored or sensorless brushless motors. The temperature of the ESC is kept within limits by the very efficient cooling fan that runs from the 6V BEC system and the finned, aluminum-red anodized heatsink.

The Rhino VE40A electronic speed controller with 32-bit MCU has been designed primarily for competitive 1/10, and 1/12 RC rock crawlers, but it is also very suitable for other types of cars and trucks. The preloaded AM32 custom firmware is optimized for RC rock crawlers, but the firmware can be configured for other applications by using the DYS USB-Link (not supplied).

Our RVS (reverse function system) is now instantaneous, with no need for the motor to stop turning, this makes it perfect for EDF braking (reverse thrust), and waterplanes for taxiing, etc. If you don't require the reverse function, simply do not connect the second lead to your receiver, it will then operate as a standard ESC.
