To achieve this versatility the XFLY engineers have used CFD (Computer Fluid Dynamics), which has enabled the Swift 2100 to achieve a high lift-to-drag ratio and excellent aerodynamic characteristics. The factory-installed power system includes an efficient 3136-1000KV brushless motor with 40A brushless ESC and drives a 10x6 2-blade folding propeller with metal spinner. This system can be powered by either a 3S, or a 4S LiPo battery to deliver plenty of thrust for fast climbs to soaring altitudes, aerobatics, and general sport flying.

Der MFX hat 2 Flügelspitzenoptionen (beide sind im Lieferumfang enthalten), eine Standardoption mit 815 mm oder die Option mit 715 mm gekürzten Flügeln. Die Standard-Flügelkonfiguration bietet eine viel bessere Steigrate, während die Konfiguration mit gekürzten Flügeln die Rollrate drastisch erhöht.

Another feature of the FLYCAT V2 is the twin-rudders, these bring in another dimension when flying the V2. It is now able to perform even more jet-like maneuvers including falling leaves and knife-edge, etc, and they also help in the approach to landing and when flying at slower speeds. The new high-viz color scheme not only looks great, but it stands out well in the sky which helps orientation when flying big, fast aerobatic maneuvers. Last but not least on the V2 there is no need for hand-launching, it comes with a set of pre-installed grass-capable electronic retracts. These robust and reliable retracts enable smooth take-offs and landings on hard and grass runways
