The Avios Tundra series of STOL sports planes has enjoyed a massive following over the years, and rightfully so, as it has been one of the best flying RC foam planes ever designed. They have an impressive flight envelope with an amazing STOL performance, and all this is coupled with a great-looking plane. The original 1300mm Tundra was followed sometime later with the launch of the 1700mm Grand Tundra, which encompassed all your favorite features but on a larger scale. This was then followed by the Grand Tundra Plus version, which kept all the original features but had improved wing servo connectors to give a stronger and more reliable connection.

We now take yet another leap forward to the 1700mm Grand Tundra 2. Like all things that evolve, there are areas that, over time, could do with a slight improvement. So, after listening to our customers and pilots, and from our own experiences, the GT2 was born, and it is better than ever. It is now a 6S setup as standard, the tail wheel has been redesigned and strengthened, the main tundra wheels have pneumatic rubber tires, it has a removable plywood battery tray with spring-loaded latch (for quick battery changes), hex-head screws all round, and a new profile, more efficient glass-filled nylon 15x8 propeller. The look of the GT2 has also changed; it has a new, striking design in the popular green and silver color scheme.

It is supplied as a Plug-N-Fly model with minimal parts count, so assembly is quick and simple. There is no gluing required, just one screw holds the tail components in place, and 1 screw for the wing. Battery and radio access is via the large magnetically held canopy hatch, so radio installation and battery changes are very easy and straightforward.

The Avios Kobuz is a large, aerobatic, sport-scale model with outstanding flight characteristics of the SZD-21 Kobuz single-seat aerobatic glider, designed and built in Poland.

This flapped, 2200mm wingspan model features clean and aesthetic lines, it will fly fast or slow, has an incredible climb rate, and is very aerobatic with good speed retention in the glide. All these things are wrapped up in one big, beautiful package, which is then finished in a stunning hi-viz Swiss color scheme. The color scheme design is quite different top and bottom for great orientation when flying high or at a distance. One feature of the Kobuz is the very large canopy with instrument panel detail, which offers easy access to the battery and RC compartment. The XFLY Partenavia P68 is a small, semi-scale twin-engined model that is perfect for flying in small areas such as local parks, sports fields, etc. It has been designed to be extremely easy to fly and assemble, which makes it perfect as an entry-level choice for the novice pilot. The design is based on the full-size Partenavia P68 which is a 6-seater, twin-engined high-wing monoplane that is generally used for light transport and training.

We have all had to start learning to fly an RC model at some point, and a stable, high-wing trainer that is very forgiving is what is required. The Dancing Wings Hobby Vogee-16 Trainer is the perfect choice for the rookie pilot. It has a large, flat-bottomed wing with dihedral which enables it to fly very slowly, and it has the stability to sort itself out if you get in a muddle. The Vogee's flying characteristics are very benign, beginners tend to over-control, and the Vogee is very gentle in its handling, especially if you install one of the readily available 3-axis gyros that are available on the market these days. The Yak-11 was designed as an advanced trainer for use by the Soviet Air Force and came into service in 1947. The pilot and instructor sat in tandem under a long canopy that had separate sliding hoods. Although designed as a trainer, Yak-11s were also used in combat during the Korean War, and more recently, highly modified ones have been used very successfully for air racing. The Steadfast was built from scratch as an out-and-out high-performance single-seat racer in Romania in the early 2000s. It was based on the Yak-3, but essentially it looks the same as a Yak-11, so our model is based on our previous Yak-11 model.

The H-King Yak Steadfast is supplied with a power train that has been developed for pure speed. Using a 6S LiPo pack, the 5020-550KV brushless motor with the supplied 85A ESC and 16x6 prop will give it an incredible turn of speed of over 100 mph. It is very quick, and seeing a model of this impressive size doing fast pylon turns near the ground is a sight to behold. Aerobatics are also a dream to perform, the rolls are very axial, and looping maneuvers are big due to the abundance of power. The only limitations to the aerobatics it will perform are your flying skills.

The Dancing Wings Hobby Savage Bobber is a small, lightweight foam model that is quick and simple to build. The full-size Savage Bobber was devised by the Zlin Aviation Company. The Bobber as in the motorcycle world means that it is a stripped-down, customized version of an original. The Savage Bobber is a stripped-down, customized version of its older brother the Savage Classic. It is lighter, more maneuverable, and has a slightly narrower fuselage, and the absence of covering to the rear of the fuselage greatly improves the crosswind handling.

The model is reasonably straightforward to assemble, it is manufactured in pre-painted high-quality EPP foam sheet for the majority of the construction, tough plastic for the open framework rear fuselage, and lightweight balsa for the internal structure. Carbon strips are also included to reinforce and improve the stiffness of the structure. It builds up quickly into a good-looking, fun-to-fly lightweight (only 98g) sports plane that is perfect for indoor or park flying. This ARF kit is supplied with a powerful 1108-4000KV brushless motor, 5A brushless ESC, 5" propeller, and 4 x 2g servos.

After the incredible success of the Tundra V1 and V2, Durafly has decided to produce yet another version with even more improvements to bring the Tundra series bang up to date. The V3 is now a pure 4S set-up so it has power in abundance to make your flying even more fun than it was before (if that is at all possible!). Other changes and improvements include daylight bright LEDs (so bright they are suitable for true dawn-to-dusk flying), a reinforced nylon prop that is more efficient, and better balanced, a return to the classic EPO foam wheels which are lighter, and stronger, pre-installed pushrods, and hex-head bolts and screws throughout. The V3 is available in the classic Tundra green and white scheme, or a red and silver color scheme Durafly has called the "Inspire". The reason is that the original Tundra was "Inspired" by the "Highlander" full-size SuperStol experimental airplane.
