The OrangeRx 6ch compact receiver has been designed for FPV racing drones with carbon frames. The extra-length antenna allows you to route them outside of the frame for extended range and a robust link to your transmitter.

OrangeRx receivers are built using original components, 32-bit MCUs, and with state of the art SMT automation to ensure a quality product each and every time. Every single receiver is manufactured using impedance-controlled PCBs with exact tuning to provide signal stability and range that exceeds any of the previous generation ORX products. In fact, our testing has shown that the R617XL exceeds the range of other receivers in the same class.

All R617XL OrangeRx receivers are QC tested using our latest method that ensures range checking takes place as the receiver is programmed. Simply put, if the R617XL cannot pass the range check it cannot be programmed, this ensures 100% of R617XLs are guaranteed to work flawlessly. The R617XL ushers in a new era of quality, reliability, and performance for the OrangeRx lineup.

The receiver features "True Diversity" technology, which is especially important for long-range flights and in situations where you need that more robust reception. This receiver is very useful where carbon is used in the construction of your model where the antenna can be in the shadow of the airframe. If one of the antennae cannot receive a signal due to its orientation then the satellite will use the other one to receive the commands from the transmitter.

The R617XL has a 6-channel cPPM output allowing for a single line connection with compatible devices. This receiver has been tested with and is fully compatible with the following Flight Controllers;
