The Avios Tundra series of STOL sports planes has enjoyed a massive following over the years, and rightfully so, as it has been one of the best flying RC foam planes ever designed. As the 2026 2300KV brushless motor turns the 6x4 propeller, the power unit automatically rotates upright above the fuselage and aligns the thrust forward for climbing, recovery or energetic sport flying.
When the motor stops, airflow tilts the power arm rearward so it lies along the top of the fuselage. The cleaner profile reduces exposed drag and returns the Cherokee to quiet, efficient gliding.
