The 3-minute cleaning process is very gentle but effective, the unit generates thousands of tiny bubbles in the cleaning fluid by vibrating at a very high frequency. This action gets right into the core of the components to give them a thorough clean. The set is supplied with a bottle of bearing detergent which you mix with water for the cleaning process. Do not use gasoline, kerosene, or other volatile or flammable solvents in the mini ultrasonic unit.
