Le Tundra a eu un énorme culte au fil des ans au sein de la communauté des radiocommandes, car c'est facilement l'un des meilleurs avions de radiocommande électriques volants sur le marché avec une réputation de vol impressionnante. Cela a été suivi quelque temps plus tard avec le lancement du Grand Tundra qui englobait toutes vos fonctionnalités préférées mais à plus grande échelle. Le Grand Tundra Plus conserve 99% des fonctionnalités de la version originale, le seul changement qui a été apporté concerne les connecteurs servo d'aile, ceux-ci ont un nouveau design pour donner une connexion plus solide et plus fiable.

The Avios Tundra series of STOL sports planes has enjoyed a massive following over the years, and rightfully so, as it has been one of the best flying RC foam planes ever designed. They have an impressive flight envelope with an amazing STOL performance, and all this is coupled with a great-looking plane. The original 1300mm Tundra was followed sometime later with the launch of the 1700mm Grand Tundra, which encompassed all your favorite features but on a larger scale. This was then followed by the Grand Tundra Plus version, which kept all the original features but had improved wing servo connectors to give a stronger and more reliable connection.

We now take yet another leap forward to the 1700mm Grand Tundra 2. Like all things that evolve, there are areas that, over time, could do with a slight improvement. So, after listening to our customers and pilots, and from our own experiences, the GT2 was born, and it is better than ever. It is now a 6S setup as standard, the tail wheel has been redesigned and strengthened, the main tundra wheels have pneumatic rubber tires, it has a removable plywood battery tray with spring-loaded latch (for quick battery changes), hex-head screws all round, and a new profile, more efficient glass-filled nylon 15x8 propeller. The look of the GT2 has also changed; it has a new, striking design in the popular green and silver color scheme.
