The XFLY A-10 Thunderbolt II is a small, scale twin-EDF model of the iconic US Air Force close attack fighter that is perfect for flying in smaller areas such as local parks, sports fields, etc. The full-size A-10 Thunderbolt affectionately known as the "Warthog", was mainly used for close air support for ground troops and armored vehicles. It was highly maneuverable due to its large ailerons, was very tough and durable, could take a lot of punishment, and it "pièces de résistance" was the Gatling gun mounted in the nose. It is a small, scale twin-EDF model of the supersonic all-weather stealth fighter that was developed for the United States Air Force. The US Air Force requirement was for an advanced tactical fighter to replace the F-15 Eagle and the F-16 Fighting Falcon that had the capability of competing with the Su-27 Flanker, and MiG-29 Fulcrum.

This great-looking EDF sports jet is the one you have all been waiting for, and it has one of the lowest all-up weights in its class, it is a good 500g lighter than comparable models that are available on the market today. It is a sport scale design and is based on the iconic BAE Hawk trainer as used by military air forces all over the world. The Supermarine Spitfire is the most famous fighter plane from the Second World War, and the Mk.1a defines where its history started. This Avios model represents an early WW2 version that came out just before the "Battle of Britain". The Mk.1a has that truly iconic shape and lines of the Supermarine Spitfire as it was seen through the eyes of its original designer, R.J. Mitchell. The upper surfaces have a brand new, authentic early WW2 camouflage color scheme, with a black and white scheme underneath. This scheme was used from 1938 and during the "Phony War" on RAF fighters to help the observation of friendly aircraft from the ground. The Avios Spitfire Mk.1a is a poignant and fitting tribute to the pilots who flew them during these early years of aerial combat.
