Have you ever tried to squeeze a larger capacity battery pack into your model but do not have enough length in the battery bay to do this? Then the Turnigy "Shorty" packs are the answer. This 2200mAh 3S is only 80mm long, making it even shorter by some margin than most 1500mAh~1800mAh 3S packs. These ultra-compact, ultra-powerful packs are the next evolution in LiPo batteries. They are built with cutting-edge technology and an optimized electrolyte blend, this battery delivers unmatched energy density (208 Wh/kg per naked cell). This means increased power and duration in a smaller, lighter package.

Turnigy LiPo battery packs are well known for delivering excellent performance and durability in your favorite RC cars, and trucks. The Turnigy Rapid range continues this pedigree by using cutting-edge technology to achieve even better performance, greater cycle life, and lower internal resistance. These packs are capable of delivering an incredible discharge rate of 100C! Please note though that these packs have been specially designed for racing, and punch out of corners on a race track, etc, they are not suitable for the prolonged discharge rates that you require for airplanes.
