The XFLY A-10 Thunderbolt II is a small, scale twin-EDF model of the iconic US Air Force close attack fighter that is perfect for flying in smaller areas such as local parks, sports fields, etc. The full-size A-10 Thunderbolt affectionately known as the "Warthog", was mainly used for close air support for ground troops and armored vehicles. It was highly maneuverable due to its large ailerons, was very tough and durable, could take a lot of punishment, and it "pièces de résistance" was the Gatling gun mounted in the nose. The Supermarine Spitfire is the most famous fighter plane from the Second World War, and the Mk.1a defines where its history started. These design features give the full-size incredible maneuverability and excellent low-speed handling, these attributes carry over extremely well to the XFLY model of the T-7A Red Hawk.
