When Durafly released the original Auto-G it raised the bar by being the first Plug-N-Fly autogyro on the market, that bar has been raised even higher with the Auto-G2 V2. Keeping to the Durafly tradition, it is quick and simple to assemble, flies extremely well, and looks amazing in flight. The V2 upgrades include the addition of a durable 2mm fiber-reinforced nylon head plate, fiber-reinforced pushrods, a fully encased main mast, wider, stronger landing gear with large lightweight bush-style foam wheels, and a cowled-in motor, plus smaller internal electronics giving more space for the flight battery.

It is a sport scale design and is based on the iconic BAE Hawk trainer as used by military air forces all over the world. The Supermarine Spitfire is the most famous fighter plane from the Second World War, and the Mk.1a defines where its history started. The Mk.1a has that truly iconic shape and lines of the Supermarine Spitfire as it was seen through the eyes of its original designer, R.J. Mitchell. The upper surfaces have a brand new, authentic early WW2 camouflage color scheme, with a black and white scheme underneath. This scheme was used from 1938 and during the "Phony War" on RAF fighters to help the observation of friendly aircraft from the ground. The Avios Spitfire Mk.1a is a poignant and fitting tribute to the pilots who flew them during these early years of aerial combat.

After the incredible success of the Tundra V1 and V2, Durafly has decided to produce yet another version with even more improvements to bring the Tundra series bang up to date. The V3 is now a pure 4S set-up so it has power in abundance to make your flying even more fun than it was before (if that is at all possible!). Other changes and improvements include daylight bright LEDs (so bright they are suitable for true dawn-to-dusk flying), a reinforced nylon prop that is more efficient, and better balanced, a return to the classic EPO foam wheels which are lighter, and stronger, pre-installed pushrods, and hex-head bolts and screws throughout. Our model captures the true spirit of the early WW1 Fokker Eindekker, It has an open framework structure built from quality balsa and hardwoods, a fiberglass cowl and plastic engine covers, a dummy rotary engine, and of course the machine gun. For ease of construction, all the parts are beautifully laser cut and are extremely accurate which will allow you to build the perfect model.
