The Avios Tundra series of STOL sports planes has enjoyed a massive following over the years, and rightfully so, as it has been one of the best flying RC foam planes ever designed. They have an impressive flight envelope with an amazing STOL performance, and all this is coupled with a great-looking plane. The original 1300mm Tundra was followed sometime later with the launch of the 1700mm Grand Tundra, which encompassed all your favorite features but on a larger scale. This was then followed by the Grand Tundra Plus version, which kept all the original features but had improved wing servo connectors to give a stronger and more reliable connection.

We now take yet another leap forward to the 1700mm Grand Tundra 2. Like all things that evolve, there are areas that, over time, could do with a slight improvement. So, after listening to our customers and pilots, and from our own experiences, the GT2 was born, and it is better than ever. It is now a 6S setup as standard, the tail wheel has been redesigned and strengthened, the main tundra wheels have pneumatic rubber tires, it has a removable plywood battery tray with spring-loaded latch (for quick battery changes), hex-head screws all round, and a new profile, more efficient glass-filled nylon 15x8 propeller. The look of the GT2 has also changed; it has a new, striking design in the popular green and silver color scheme.

The XFLY Partenavia P68 is a small, semi-scale twin-engined model that is perfect for flying in small areas such as local parks, sports fields, etc. It has been designed to be extremely easy to fly and assemble, which makes it perfect as an entry-level choice for the novice pilot. The design is based on the full-size Partenavia P68 which is a 6-seater, twin-engined high-wing monoplane that is generally used for light transport and training.

We have all had to start learning to fly an RC model at some point, and a stable, high-wing trainer that is very forgiving is what is required. The Dancing Wings Hobby Vogee-16 Trainer is the perfect choice for the rookie pilot. It has a large, flat-bottomed wing with dihedral which enables it to fly very slowly, and it has the stability to sort itself out if you get in a muddle. The Vogee's flying characteristics are very benign, beginners tend to over-control, and the Vogee is very gentle in its handling, especially if you install one of the readily available 3-axis gyros that are available on the market these days. The Dancing Wings Hobby Stick-14T 3D aerobatic trainer is the perfect choice for intermediate and experienced RC pilots alike. If you are flying from a hard runway this helps shorten the landing run quite considerably when selected after touchdown. Another feature of the FLYCAT V2 is the twin-rudders, these bring in another dimension when flying the V2. It is now able to perform even more jet-like maneuvers including falling leaves and knife-edge, etc, and they also help in the approach to landing and when flying at slower speeds. The new high-viz color scheme not only looks great, but it stands out well in the sky which helps orientation when flying big, fast aerobatic maneuvers. Last but not least on the V2 there is no need for hand-launching, it comes with a set of pre-installed grass-capable electronic retracts. These robust and reliable retracts enable smooth take-offs and landings on hard and grass runways

The Dancing Wings Hobby Cute Girl laser cut balsa kit captures the type of vintage model airplane that was used in the early days of RC with radio assist. The Yak-11 was designed as an advanced trainer for use by the Soviet Air Force and came into service in 1947. The pilot and instructor sat in tandem under a long canopy that had separate sliding hoods. Although designed as a trainer, Yak-11s were also used in combat during the Korean War, and more recently, highly modified ones have been used very successfully for air racing. The Steadfast was built from scratch as an out-and-out high-performance single-seat racer in Romania in the early 2000s. It was based on the Yak-3, but essentially it looks the same as a Yak-11, so our model is based on our previous Yak-11 model.

The H-King Yak Steadfast is supplied with a power train that has been developed for pure speed. Using a 6S LiPo pack, the 5020-550KV brushless motor with the supplied 85A ESC and 16x6 prop will give it an incredible turn of speed of over 100 mph. It is very quick, and seeing a model of this impressive size doing fast pylon turns near the ground is a sight to behold. Aerobatics are also a dream to perform, the rolls are very axial, and looping maneuvers are big due to the abundance of power. The only limitations to the aerobatics it will perform are your flying skills.

The Durafly Me-163B has been designed for pilots with some experience, it benefits from an incredible flight performance, great stability throughout its speed range, and like the real thing, it is incredibly fast. Aerobatics including huge loops, vertical rolls out of sight, and very fast low passes are easily achievable, yet slow it down and it's very stable, with no hint of a stall. Using the recommended 2200mah 30-65C 4S LiPo battery and the supplied 6x4 prop, you can expect flight times well beyond 5 minutes and an abundance of power. The Sports Hawk comes pre-painted in a Formula One-inspired paint scheme and includes a set of HobbyKing brand decals that you can apply if you wish.
