The Supermarine Spitfire, a British single-seat fighter aircraft was used by the Royal Air Force and other Allied countries before, during, and after World War II. The large battery hatch can accommodate a 4S 2600-4000mAh LiPo battery for a wider range of flight times. The combination of a 3541-KV745 motor and a 40A brushless ESC offers plenty of power and achieves excellent thrust-to-weight ratio for a satisfying scale performance. Metal main landing gear with shock absorbing struts and efficient electric retracts deliver outstanding ground handling performance. The flap design on this model uses four panel split flaps for easier take-offs and landings, akin to its full-size counterpart. Day-bright LED wingtip lights aid in visibility and add realism.
